The DW 5002AD3 is an excellent double chain dual bass drum pedal that features a host of refinements and upgrades on the classic DW 5000 pedal every drummer knows and loves. Some of the upgrades include the Accelerator™ offset cam and DW’s Delta Tri-Bearing System. This pedal is a must-have item for double bass drummers!

The Accelerator™ drive system offers an eccentric motion that creates an indirect relationship between the sprocket and the footboard, increasing the velocity of the pedal by shortening the length of the stroke. It is recommended for situations that require increased speed and sensitivity.

DW’s Delta Tri-Bearing System employs ball bearings in three critical areas: the hinge, spring rocker and both sides of the post casting. DW’s patented Delta ball-bearing hinge is a state-of-the-art lightweight aluminum design that incorporates ball bearings at both sides. The adjustable spring rocker and post casting also utilize ball bearings for smoother movement at the hex shaft, completing the Delta Tri-Bearing System.
